The Beacon

A student-run newspaper for homeschoolers

The Beacon at Excelsior Classes is a student-run newspaper which helps high school homeschool students develop journalism skills as they research, write, edit and publish a monthly newspaper distributed to homeschool students and families. The newspaper content is mainly news and feature articles about faculty and students taking classes at Excelsior Classes. Above all, its purpose is to uphold Godly standards as students learn the art and craft of journalism.
