Feature Film Screenwriting – Ind. Study
Independent Study in Feature-Film Screenwriting is a personalized course to take individual students through their own writing experience. You pick the story, genre, etc. and together we will develop a plan to help you achieve your goal.
This course is focused on the creation of a feature-length motion picture screenplay. You will engage in research, story development, character work, and several draft stages to develop a full screenplay. Feedback will be given at every stage of development.
The ultimate goal for the semester is to complete a script through a second draft of a full script. So, you’ll be working on foundational work that you’ve done before: story ideas and loglines, synopses, character and plot development, outlines, and at least two drafts of a script. That’s a huge accomplishment in a semester!
