Accreditation

Excelsior Classes Is Fully Accredited as a Private School by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Why Accreditation?

Some homeschool parents need accreditation for assurance or reporting purposes. It also can be helpful to parents or students in case of a return to a public school or private school setting.

For Excelsior Classes, it helps us to verify that our products and services are on par and provides recognition and accountability for our ongoing quality improvement efforts.

What does accreditation mean?

Excelsior Classes is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC). Accreditation is a rigorous, ongoing process that affirms the quality and integrity of our programs. For families, this means:

  • Trusted academic standards – Our courses meet high expectations for rigor and excellence.

  • Recognized academic credit – Accreditation helps ensure that the grades and course completions earned through Excelsior are more readily understood and accepted by schools, colleges, and universities.

  • Commitment to growth – We regularly review and improve our programs through data analysis, reflection, and peer evaluation.

  • Professional accountability – Our faculty and staff collaborate under a schoolwide plan that fosters continuous improvement and student success.

ACS WASC accreditation is your assurance that Excelsior Classes is a reliable, trustworthy partner in your student’s educational journey.
