Chelsea lives in a peaceful Texas neighborhood with her family. She has four sisters (one being a staff member at The Beacon as well) and a dog named Twix. Chelsea enjoys writing, directing, filming, and acting in comedy videos that she produces with her sisters. She also reads and occasionally writes satire about the church and everyday life. Chelsea loves listening to hymns and southern gospel. Some of her favorite artists are the “Booth Brothers” and “Ernie Haase & Signature Sound”. Chelsea participates in the choir at her church and has been taking piano lessons for nine years. She can often be found reading books such as the “Lord of the Rings” series, the “Mysterious Benedict Society” series, and the “Melendy Quartet” series. Her favorite movies are “Sammy the Way-Out Seal”, “It’s a Wonderful Life”, and the TV show “Leave it to Beaver”. Chelsea has competed in the National Bible Bee for the past five years. Although she started in the Primary level, she is now competing as a Senior. Chelsea is fifteen years old and has been homeschooled her entire life. This is her first year at The Beacon and Excelsior Classes, and she is serving as a news reporter.
